Round 10: the teams

February 9, 2012 No Comments

 Hello all,

A big Round 10 for the Elwood Cricket Club as every side has a lot to play for.

The First are playing the Spiders — who have had a brilliant season, currently 3rd on the Longmuir Shield ladder — in what is a big game for Marshall Butning’s men. Calvin Lyon gets his first Longmuir call up after starring for the Thirds last game. And Luke Baillie, after his momentous game last week, has got a well deserved promotion.

The Twos are looking to capitalise on a good win last round. Tom Earls — the leg-spinning son of the great Duke — plays his first 2nd XI game. Well done Tommy!

The Threes have a lot of momentum  — and need a strong performance against Omega to put a finals spot in the bag.

The Fours — for so long nigh unbeatable — will be looking to rebound from last round’s loss with a strong performance.

And the Fifths are a very good chance for a win against Highett at the Peanut Farm!

Anyway, teams below.
