Elwood’s Brownlow Medal — the Ray “Stinger” Howard Medal was held on Saturday evening, March 3 at The Elwood Lounge Palladium.

It proved to be a very enjoyable night, especially for our 1st XI leg-spinning star, Rob De Haan, who won his second Stinger Medal in three years, pipping the First’s batting rock Sammy Tee, the Fifth XI’s evergreen opening bowler Tony King and 3rd XI warrior Ray Earls — all of whom rounded out the top 4.

De Haan polled in 9 out of a possible 11 games, securing his victory with a man of the match performance in Round 10.
