Finals: Our 4th XI Team vs Emmanuel South Oakleigh at Elwood this Sat & Sun!

March 2, 2016 No Comments

Good morning all Elwood players & supporters,

After a great summer of cricket, with many highs and some lows, we have made it to March and our 4th XI, who compete in F Grade, have made the finals and won the right to play a final this Saturday and Sunday against Emmanuel South Oakleigh at Elwood.

It’s awesome that the boys get to play at Elwood. And the Club hopes all players and supporters will get down to the club this weekend to support the boys.

Hilariously, one of the biggest corporate triathlons in the world will be happening around us, so parking will be limited on both Saturday and Sunday.

Parking is always tough at Elwood but will almost impossible on Saturday and Sunday due to the event being set up on Saturday (thousands of people will be dropping off their bikes) and the event on Sunday until midday.

Below is a diagram of where you can park on the weekend. There is limited free parking close to the ground but I can guarantee that there will be no spots available.  An even better option is to get dropped to the ground if possible or take public transport.

So good luck to the boys on Saturday and Sunday. Play starts at 1.30pm both days. It is going to be a cracking weekend weather-wise, so let’s get behind the lads and help them win their first final!

Good luck boys!

Go Elwood.
