Welcome Elwood Cricket Club Juniors…

Elwood Cricket Club (ECC) juniors offers 3 levels of participation:

JUNIOR BLASTERS (formerly Milo In2Cricket)

This program is designed to introduce boys and girls from 5 to 8 years old to the game of cricket. Kids will learn the basics of the game in a fast, fun and active program that emphasises maximum participation and cricket skill development.
It is a 6-week, 90 minute per session course that starts in late November, has a break over Christmas ad finishes in late January.
Registration fee $TBA.

MATER BLASTERS (formerly Milo T20 Blast)

This is designed to prepare your child for Junior Club Competition Cricket. It is aimed to give girls and boys aged 7-12 years their first experience of playing games of cricket. The program is much shorter than traditional cricket with a maximum of 90 minutes playing time.
All the equipment is supplied and the games take place at the same venue each week.
Registration fee $TBA.

Junior Club Competition Cricket

Junior club cricket provides players with the opportunity to engage in competition and more specific skill development where mastering the basics of cricket are a priority. At ECC, junior players can register in the following:
  • U12s – players must be 11 years or under on 31st August 2019.
  • U14s – players must be 13 years or under on 31st August 2019.
  • U16s – players must be 15 years or under on 31st August 2019.
Please note that the transition between T20 Blast and club competition cricket at Elwood is Under 12s ‘Rookies’. Rookies cricket introduces participants to match play cricket with some rule modifications.

We would appreciate it if you could register as soon as possible.
